

Pamela Vanderberg, MSN, MBA, RN, TCRN, CEN is the Vice President of Trauma and Burn Services at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She has worked in trauma nearly all her career around 32 of her 38 years in nursing. Her career has included bedside nursing experience in the ED as well as management of an ED and STICU. She has been in trauma program leadership for the past 10 years. Likewise, she has been a member of ATS for 10 years.
“My institution has benefitted from being an ATS member by having access to ongoing trauma-related education. We are also a Trauma Survivor Network facility and appreciate the resources available to enhance our TSN offerings.”
Her biggest professional achievement has been developing robust quality trauma programs that improve the overall quality of care for the entire facility. Facilities with effective Trauma Centers realize that the trauma program can truly effect positive change and implement patient care improvements.
She is very content with her current role and enjoys mentoring younger leaders to grow in this wonderful profession. She looks forward to retirement in the next decade.

Fun Facts: Pamela love's live theater and traveling. She most enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchild as well as her extended family.
