NHTSA Office of EMS Praise for Hurricane Ian Responders

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Office of EMS and National 911 Program staff would like to thank emergency response personnel supporting communities following Hurricane Ian.

Thank you to those of you—both career and volunteer—who help others while your own homes and families have been impacted as well. And thank you to those of you who answer the call, traveling from the next town over or several states away to lend a hand. 

After a challenging few years through a prolonged COVID-19 pandemic response, NHTSA honors the men and women who continue to rise to the challenge when there is a call for help. As always, thank you for all that you do, and good wishes for safety and strength to those who step up during these difficult times.
