On behalf of the American Trauma Society (ATS) I would like to take the opportunity to recognize the emergency nurses within our membership on this, Emergency Nurses Day - 2018. Throughout this week emergency nurses across the nation are being recognized for their knowledge, extraordinary skill set, compassion, and steadfast dedication to their patients, families, and each other. At the ATS we know that emergency nurses are vital members of our trauma teams and play an important role along trauma patients’ continuum of care.
