We Need Data! How Registry Data Drives the Trauma Program and Patient Care

 

Join Linda Greene and the ATS CSTR Leadership Advisory Group for a CSTR Exam Prep Panel titled, "We Need Data! How Registry Data Drives the Trauma Program and Patient Care." Join a panel of trauma center leadership to describe the critical role that trauma registry data plays in running a successful trauma center. Understand the mistakes and misdirection that can occur if the data is incorrectly reported. Lastly, learn how the registry and data directly impacts patient care.


Objectives:

Describe how trauma registry data is utilized in performance improvement, patient care, injury prevention, and trauma center functioning.
Review the importance of data in trauma center verification and in national benchmarking reports.
Discuss the role of the trauma registry professional and identify strategies for incorporating them into the trauma team

Registration Instructions for the Learning Management System (LMS):



Step-by-Step Instructions for ATS Members:

1. Sign in to your ATS member profile here or select the red register button above to sign in to your profile

2. Hover over Education tab in the top menu bar of the ATS website

3. Select Online Learning

4. Click on the Catalog tab in the LMS and select the Upcoming Webinars link from the left side of the page

5. Select Launch to register yourself for the webinar. Once you select launch you have successfully registered for the webinar. 

6. After you select launch, you will receive an email from GoToWebinar with a link to join the webinar

 

 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Non-Members:

1. Click on the link here and sign in as a non-member (you may need to create a non-member profile, if you have not previously done so) to register

2. Hover over Education tab in the top menu bar of the ATS website

3. Select Online Learning

4. Click on the Catalog tab in the LMS and select the Upcoming Webinars link from the left side of the page

5. Select Buy Now to register yourself for the webinar

6. Complete each part of the payment and confirmation pages

7. Enter payment information for the registration fee

. After you select confirm, you will receive an email from GoToWebinar with a link to join the webinar

NOTE: If you click launch or Buy Now and then receive the below screen, you have successfully registered for the webinar. If you have not received your link to join the webinar by the day of the webinar, please contact the ATS national office at education@amtrauma.org or 703-538-3544
