The Trauma Survivors Network (TSN), a national program of the American Trauma Society (ATS), was created in 2008 to support patients and families as they navigate life after a serious injury. The TSN connects survivors, loved ones, and trauma professionals through peer mentorship, support groups, education, and practical recovery resources.
Research shows that healing is stronger when survivors are not alone. By fostering connection and reducing isolation, the TSN helps individuals build resilience, regain confidence, and find hope alongside others who have shared similar experiences. Today, the TSN serves as a lifeline for survivors and families and is a trusted partner to nearly 300 trauma centers nationwide. Together, we’re building a community where every survivor has the support, understanding, and encouragement they need to heal and move forward.
