This webinar will review the appropriate identification and coding of various trauma-related interventions surrounding lines & drains and their impact on trauma registry data quality and reporting. !

Dr. Blickenstaff and Amanda Truelove will discuss common documentation and coding challenges, provide a reference table of codes for specific line and drain types, and highlight how inaccurate assignment may affect ACS TQIP outcomes and other quality programs.

The session will include practical examples designed to support performance improvement staff, trauma registry professionals, and trauma program leaders in improving intervention identification and data accuracy.
