Presentations
TIEP's "Map Tool to Assess Timely Access to Trauma Centers" was featured at the 2007
ESRI International User Conference in San Diego, CA. This mapping application was
developed in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania and Avencia, a geographic
information systems (GIS) development firm. Robert Cheetham, CEO of Avencia, gave a presentation entitled, "GIS
and Trauma Center Siting: Trauma Resource Allocation Model for Ambulances and Hospitals"
to an audience of GIS professionals interested in health care mapping applications. A
