Group wants better trauma care
The county has no facility to treat severe injuries. A task force has identified two potential locations.

    Chester County is the largest county in Pennsylvania without a trauma center. The Chester County Trauma Services Task Force, a group of local officials, doctors, and hospital executives is trying to change that. According to the 2007 Chester County Trauma Center study, it can take injured patients in Chester County as much as 73 minutes to get to an operating room.
