Job Description

We have created an exciting and new opportunity for an experienced nurse manager with 3-5 years of trauma clinical experience and clinical program management experience, related to trauma or emergency services, to lead our trauma program and work with a specialized team at Legacy Emanuel Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop the trauma program structure, and develop and monitor the trauma quality program to ensure compliance with the American College of Surgeons criteria. The successful candidate will collaborate with the trauma leadership team on issues relating to trauma services, including the development of staff within the program, and will build community and physician relationships for our trauma program. This position will also provide leadership to the Trauma Clinic, Trauma Nurse Coordinators and our Trauma Registrars. You must possess outstanding communication and leadership skills and be able to effectively adapt to an ever-changing clinical environment.

Requires a BSN degree, or equivalent related experience; Oregon RN license, or eligibility; and demonstrated knowledge of operations including staffing, scheduling, budget management, workflow planning and staff development.
