Norwalk Hospital, a suburban hospital with a Level II Trauma Center, is a 350 bed community teaching hospital which boasts an ACS verified program providing 24/7 trauma coverage with our team of board certified Surgeons, ED Physicians, and a surgically trained PA staff; the only hospital-run EMS program in the state; a nationally renowned Surgical PA Training Program; an in-house acute rehab facility; in-house surgical attending coverage; and a nationally certified Trauma Registrar.
Trauma Program Manager
Our Trauma Program is active in the community with prevention education, and is a lead organization in both local and state disaster preparedness initiatives. Our ED sees 50,000 cases a year, and our Trauma Program annually admits over 800 cases, primarily blunt mechanism injuries.
