Trauma Systems Through the Eyes of the CFO - How to Effectively Communicate with the C-Suite

Join us for a discussion on trauma systems and trauma centers from the CFO’s prospective.  We will talk about funding projects and how to communicate its value to the CFO.  We will discuss the balancing act between funding programs and streamlining costs. While talking to the CFO about needing money for a project or position may cause people to be nervous (because you do not understand the language or how to communicate your needs), we will offer tips on how to be successful. In other words we will teach you to speak elementary finance and identify the finance linguistics. Topics such as formulating a project, gathering facts, ROI (return on investment), etc will also be examined, basically how to bring your project to life.  We will also walk through examples of how to ask for money for various needs, such as additional staff.
