Baskets Full of Fun for the Maryland Division
ATS Maryland Division board member Mr. Jim Brown did an expert job of calling out bingo numbers, rousing fun, and raising funds for the Maryland Division’s Longeberger Basket Bingo held on June 3rd. Jim’s wife Sara is a Longeberger representative and graciously supported us by donating her commission and time to our cause.
It was a great evening full of laughter and enjoyment as guests had the opportunity to win some beautiful baskets stuffed with goodies as well as enjoy good food, fellowship and fun. We are proud to say that we had the generous support of all of trauma centers throughout the state for this event as well as our lead agency for trauma and EMS which is MIEMSS.
Ms. Claire Leidy coordinated this event for us. As the individual responsible for coordinating educational programs for multiple trauma professionals, she knew the individuals statewide who could support this. Her knowledge and ingenuity made this a fun and successful activity for our division.
Through the gracious efforts of Jim and Sara as well as Claire’s abilities, we were able to raise a profit of $1,300.00. This will allow us to continue our injury prevention efforts and collaboration in the state of Maryland.
